Creativity, customer care, safety

Who are we?

The Finest Line is owned and managed by Lisa Thomas, a working mum of two. Lisa is an award winning Semi Permanent Make Up technician.

Having had a successful career in events, sales and marketing for many years, Lisa re-trained as a semi permanent make up technician in order to follow her dream of working in the health and beauty sector.

Lisa is very experienced at working with people who require a bespoke and specific service through her background as a wedding coordinator in a 5* venue. Consultations are never rushed and clients are never put under pressure to have a treatment they are not 100% sure about. Customer care is paramount and Lisa likes to develop a relationship with her clients, keeping in touch well past the day their treatment is complete. She is always happy to answer questions or deal with concerns for the full life span of the micropigmentation treatment.

Pigments, anaesthetics, equipment

The products used by Lisa all conform to strict EU regulations and are all fully licensed for use on human skin.

All pigments used are 100% natural and are not tested on animals. Anaesthetics are topical (for external use only) and contain lidocane to ensure the treatments are as pain-free as possible.

Lisa uses a micropigmentation machine which is specially developed for the cosmetic tattoo market. It is a sensitive and precise machine which is used in the NHS for medical procedures.

Training, qualifications and awards

Lisa trained with Finishing Touches, a well known and respected semi permanent make up company, who have been active in the industry for over 20 years. She receives regular support from Finishing Touches and is active in keeping up with changes in the market and new trends in micropigmentation.

Lisa believes strongly in continual improvement and attends regular training sessions to learn the most up to date cosmetic tattooing techniques.

In 2016, she won an award for her lip-work in the Finishing Touches 20 Years of Excellence Awards.

In Lisa’s own words

There’s no better way to get to know a person than by seeing what they have to say for themselves in their own words.

Lisa writes regular blogs, giving advice and information on semi permanent make up treatments and changes in the industry. You can read them here
